How amazing, Ojude Oba, which means "the king's forecourt," is so amazing to watch, with so many beautiful colors and mesmerizing people.
Ojude Oba is an ancient festival celebrated by the Yoruba people of Ijebu-Ode, a major town in Ogun State, Southwestern Nigeria. This annual festival usually takes place on the third day after Eid al-Kabir (Ileya) to pay homage and show respect to the Royal Majesty, the Awujale of Ijebuland.
The festival features a stunning display of colorful attire by various age groups, known as ‘regberegbe’, alongside horse-riding competitions and an array of rich cultural performances.
The 2024 Ojude Oba caught so much attention, from the organization to the settings; this is royalty at its peak.
